Re: secret life of plants/soil
Thu, January 29, 2004 - 11:03 PMIf plants literally 'thought' I would have to rethink eating them. I am attempting to work on a BioMEMS Nutrition Machine. It would be a machine that could process soil and other plants like certain other plants that we eat. -

Fri, January 30, 2004 - 3:26 PMHave you ever heard of Breatharians? they are humans that live in mountains and live on air....they supposedly lose their teeth during a diet like this.....
what about the concept though of being eaten and eating..?
like the foodchain? is that all wrong? -

Re: secret life of plants/soil
Fri, January 30, 2004 - 4:25 PMI would like to exist in an 'ecosystem' of plentitude where parasitism is eliminated altogether. This demands a separation of intelligent beings from the less-aware-levels/order of 'natural' evolution. -

Re: secret life of plants/soil
Fri, January 30, 2004 - 4:34 PMi know whatcha mean, it's a fine balance, this nature....
unfortunately it says it in the word : ecosystem
system of ecological beings.....like the magnet theory:
positive is never attracted to a positive as a negative never to a negative, therefore, when something negative happens, know that something positive will ensue and vice versa....
same with superwonderbeings and parasitebeings.....
strange eh
i guess it's the consciousness dance....
we never guessed plants had esp, did they tell us? we didn't know how to communicate with each other, but now we know...we always thought they are lower, therefore no shame in massacring them all...and they'll all grow back anyways.....
one day we'll all be spirit again i guess, with no cellular limitations, and we'll choose the next paradigm/reality to incarnate...for now we gotta deal with this one i guess... -

Re: secret life of plants/soil
Sat, May 22, 2004 - 6:56 AMalso "one straw revolution" and "natural way of farming" by masonabu fukuoka can't go without mention in this discussion... for being such an advanced race, we sure are ignorant on some fronts. whole system dynamics...dang. how much we can learn from the plants, fungi and cetaceans ...

Fri, January 2, 2009 - 10:13 AMI wish there was no parasitism and no evil too. I think it is possible to create a universe like this but that it is rarely discussed or considered. And some people like the drama. I think there could be an enjoyable drama/parasite free lifestyle.

Re: secret life of plants/soil
Fri, January 2, 2009 - 10:11 AMSome people would think that the air itself is a form of consciousness or life in some way. Everthing from meat to plants to air have vibrations and electical properties, so there fundamentally isn't much difference. If people are living off of it they are consuming some form of life. Just like photosynthesis, where green leaves "eat" sunlight energy - little bundles of energy. Little bundles of energy just like in air. Just like in meat. Just like in carrots.
